DAVIT GIORGADZE
ONE THING LEADS TO ANOTHER
a.k.a EVERYTHING IS INTERCONNECTED
JAN, 13TH - FEB, 22ND, 2018
A Pergamon Dialect.
Aristonicus broken by the 6th pillar of the 5th church in Eurasia’s dynastic empire worked fastidiously against
the reigns that held terror to his hands and hips, the ends of their lithe unknotted weight gently grinding
against his finely muscled back. His sweat soaked those ropes creating a belief that in later petrified years,
the stalactites would from the corners of his mouth along the waxy hardened sinew of his mummified corpse
toward the micro-knotted tethered rope at his wrists and ankles still adorning the pillar-a reminder of his public
mistakes with Blossius against the feast of Rome. In how many moments will remain until the man tied
to salt and pillar realizes that the gift of his own economy is not himself, but his image.
We reject and we compel. We keep slow tightening leather crowned to our feet preserved in cans of whale
blubber opened by an obsidian blade. Those from the future will endeavor to sift through the coprolite
unearthed under so many feet in the public stool houses in ruins great and buried. Like bodies trapped in
blue ice, teasing marble from frozen veins under translucent paper-thin skin, everything ends when the heart
stops.
White Lips drool atop the citadel of Mount Everest. There is a difference between summiting and peaking in
aurora lights and aurora euphoria. The image fastidiously preserved in marble, exempt from time, but not exempt
from desire bound to the intrepid and may no image bear the weight of a representation outside those
frozen in peaking lights and snowy climbs. We celebrate our preservation along the contours and confines of
bodies not our own and the gifts are immortalized, passed along the stream of mind adorn in sweat and the
feast and decay of all flesh. Our lovers but satellites splintered into fragments.
